Crab and Rib Fest Sept 16

I am selling tickets to the Lancaster Hempfield Rotary Club's "Crab and Rib Fest" on Sunday, Sept 16.  $40 per ticket.  The proceeds benefit our club's Hempfield scholarship program which gives scholarships to students from Hempfield who are entering college.

It's outside in the Pavilion at Lancaster Leaderkranz, and should be a lot of fun!

Health Care Prediction

Between you and me and this blog, I have a prediction about the Supreme Court's upcoming ruling on the health care law.
They will over rule it in its' entirety, and maybe even go broader.  Like making comments about Medicare, or something crazy like that.
This court put George Bush in office, then ruled that corporations are people and now decided that unions aren't.  There is no way they'll have anything to do with this law.
And the monied people with their fingers in the till will have triumphed once again.
My hope is that this will revive the single payer movement, but it will take a LONG time and be a fierce battle against powerful interests.
