Last night I gave my camera to Annisa, and she took it for a swim. These are our first underwater photos with my little camera!

Pool open and ready to go!

As of 9am this morning, the pool is ready to go! The solar cover has been on 24/7, harnessing the power of the direct sun, so the temperature is actually would be swimmable. Who will be the first in?

I shocked it like crazy during the winter, so we do have a big white bleached area in the deep end. Oh well, at least the water is clear.

Healthcare Protest

Here is a video of the protesters at the Senate Finance committee hearing that was supposedly discussing health care reform. No single payer advocates were on the panel, so hence the protests. The people in charge in Washington are effectively and powerfully not allowing single payer to be considered as an option. It's a terrible, terrible shame. They meet again next Tuesday.
