Here is a video of the protesters at the Senate Finance committee hearing that was supposedly discussing health care reform. No single payer advocates were on the panel, so hence the protests. The people in charge in Washington are effectively and powerfully not allowing single payer to be considered as an option. It's a terrible, terrible shame. They meet again next Tuesday.

Evidently someone struck the nerve - the quick of the matter. I guess vested interests are keeping single payer sidelined. Any hope?
