Summer is ALMOST over!
Note from 1/2 hour later: I'm not enjoying Bloggers new improvements. Two of the photos below only show the left side of the photo in the post. I've given up tryint to resize them.
Days Later: So I resized my blog!
Tonight the North Museum had the annual appreciation of volunteers picnic at the Conestoga House along Marietta Ave. It was fun to reconnect. I came in second in the Museum trivia contest, even though I haven't spent much time there this last year. Yes! ("what kind of skeleton is in the discovery room?" "Where can you find a bronze cast of the Pennsylvania State fossil?" etc) I've always tested well, except in math. In fact, to the question "How many visitors came through the museum last year?" I was off by an order of magnitude. Me=225,000 Actual=25,000
Our pool may have too high Total Dissolved Solids, but at least it isn't GREEN, like at the Steinman Mansion!

Lovely, Alan. And congratulaions on the quiz win -- in the number section you were only one number off! We're trying to ready ourselves for the saying good-bye to summer vacation too, around here. Joel is off to a great start so now we hope the same for Marie as well, and Jody and Annisa. Thanks for the pictures! --jane
