Time to get the Yellow Fever

Made my visit to the travel clinic today

Hep A, Typhoid and Yellow fever.  Plus a bunch of pills.

The nurses were strangely excited to take photos for my travel blog.

I guess I need to make a travel blog

My nurse was so happy to issue the International Yellow Fever Vaccination Stamp.

I think this is her official "big deal."

It's my big deal, too.  I don't get out much.

There you go.  I still think I don't need it, but several hundred dollars later, I am safe.

Baby Video

I follow a midwife on Instagram.  I know that might sound wierd, but she writes so real about the human condition.

She posted this little video today, and my word - it certainly shows why childbirth is such an amazing thing.  It's a wonder babies and mothers ever survive the ordeal!

Did you know that as the baby's head descends during labor and as its parent is pushing it out, the baby is hard at work hanging its position, bending it's neck, extending its chin, and twisting around to fit best? It's a joint effort between baby and parent for birth to be successful. The Pink Peony

Today is the 10th Birthday of this blog.  Happy Birthday, Thesandwichboard@blogspot.com.

In a very anticlimactic celebration, I have photos of some pink Peonies.  I didn't get them right - sort of like trying to take a photo of a black dog, but with the opposite problem.  The flowers get washed out, or look unnatural.

Google Assistant even gave it a try.  The other photos are my edits.
