My running buddy, Dan, has a daughter who recently went to Japan to live for a few months. She was in the earthquake, but is safe. She wrote about it in her blog.
That's scary stuff. When Zel was in Santa Cruz I had to not let my mind go to the idea of the big one hitting that area while he was living there. I'm glad they could hear from her so soon afterwards. --jane
